Michele Normand

I was born and raised in the Portland area.  After graduating from Centennial High School and while attending Mt. Hood Community College and working in my family’s business I choreographed for the Centennial HiC’s dance team for 4 years.  I have two boys, one who graduated from Sam Barlow and one who graduated from Metro East Web Academy. When my boys entered public school I volunteered helping in classrooms, in the office and spent years in different Parent Teacher Club positions.  I have worked as a substitute educational assistant for the Gresham Barlow School District and have volunteered as an Aspire Mentor for Sam Barlow High School and Metro East Web Academy.  I am also a Key Communicator for the district. My husband owns a business that employs both of our boys. We are lucky to run the business from our home in Boring Oregon, it’s a short walk to work and we can all be together : ).
