The Metro East Web Academy is an online public charter school approved by the Oregon Department of Education. The school’s web-based curriculum meets Oregon state standards and Highly Qualified teachers will provide the instruction.
Each academy student receives a personalized education program designed to meet their unique needs.
This online school allows students to login any time, anywhere. The online learning is supported in a variety of ways, including:
- Daily e-mail communication with teachers
- Face-to-face check-in sessions with instructors
- Field-trips and community service projects with other academy students

Who can attend
The Metro East Web Academy is an online public charter school designed for students who live within the Metro East School District Boundaries. Students who live outside of the district will be considered for enrollment if there are available spaces.

The Metro East Web Academy is specifically designed for students who find a traditional classroom setting does not meet their needs. We believe home-school students, home-bound students, and students who have exited school before graduating will find the Metro East Web Academy a suitable educational option.
The online courses offered by the academy are rigorous and standards-based. The courses are flexible enough to meet the needs of students in a variety of circumstances.
